What does the imagery show to you?

what I wanted to do here was have a beautiful person, in a fancy dress, sitting where the tramps sit. To try an get a mixed view, could she be a prostitute? Does your sense of who you are disappear as soon as the environment you are in and the way that you've been brought up clash. Does our perception of her change once we notice the bottle?


Would like to know what you think

looking back at this photo I don't think that I really conveyed what I wanted to, but I guess I was quite young when I took it and we learn with experience.

It's definitely a fine portrait. Did you indeed set it all up? She looks quite surprised at being photographed, like it was shot at some highschool prom. Good modeling.

yeh i set it up, but i wanted to make it look as though she was just a person i was passing, try an make it less posed :P

great shot. i think it needs to be a bit bigger to see the detail though. or maybe this computer just makes everything too small. either way, good shot.

Great idea beautifully executed... I love the B&W format and her eyes are mesmerizing. One minor suggestion would be to make her knees look more dirty to reinforce the idea that she may be a prostitute.

this looks gr8 - luvin that contrast and the darker shadows on her knees look gr8 - just like everyone said - nicely done ;)
