The sense of her being a prostitute is ruined by the elegance of the woman and her dress and hair - I agree with whoever said it looked like a prom night photograph. The beer (personally I would have used a bottle rather than a can but thats just me) and cigarette make sense for the prom night theory and the prostitute, but the prom scene is ruined or made strange by her position and the way she has pulled her dress up. To me the way her dress is arranged almost suggests rape, but then the model looks more relaxed and not worried than if someone had just taken advantage of her. Then theres her expression which seems as though she is looking at something not too far away that is slightly shocking and disagreeable, perhaps something along the lines of her boyfriend and best friend getting into a car together if we were to stick with the prom night idea. But at the same time she looks slightly more disappointed than that, and also looks like she's been caught out. Then again I come back to the title and something doesn't quite fit. I do like the idea of our vices being expensive, but perhaps if the position was changed it would make more sense. I do still think it's a great photo and I appologise for pulling it to pieces with my analysis, but I was just voicing my (many) thoughts/opinions.

if I may use this pose in a future ToniBo ink of mine I would deeply appreciate it if you didnt mind. I made a pic of my char back in 2003 of her in a similar pose but my inkings have come along way since then and I wouldnt want to just remake an old drawing. this picture youve done here would make for a great model. Bruce.

I had to imagine that. The why is simple. In your picture, there is a portrait of a really lovely girl, with quite an elegant and tasteful dress, sitting in a quite bizzare pose for some reason. The point is, the frame is a bit too small to have relation to prostitution, and the only things that seem out of place to me are a. the fact that a girl is wearing that sort of dress in daylight, and b. the beer can.
The picture itself is good. Although the pose is quite bizzare imo, it is not disturbing, and the beer can adds a bit of disorder to the elegance imo. The choice of b/w here, and the tones themselves are excellent.
The point I'm trying to make though, that although it is good, it has no resemblance, imo at least, to what you tried to move using the description.
